Privacy

Your floor plan stays on your device and is not uploaded. That is the default for everything in House Quest.

What stays on your device

• Homes you draw or trace, including rooms, furniture, notes and review progress (stored in your browser’s IndexedDB).
• Uploaded floor-plan images and PDFs. They are converted in your browser and never sent to our servers.
• Kua profiles, including birth dates.
• Snapshots, preferences and report unlock tokens.

Browsers can clear local data (Safari may do so after a period without visits). Download a backup file from “Your homes” to keep a copy.

What leaves your device — only when you ask

• Share links: room shapes, door/window positions and furniture are compressed into the link itself. No photo, notes, name or birth date. We do not store shared layouts.
• Support email: if you write to hello@fengshuilens.com, your address, message and any attachments you choose to send are processed to respond to your request. Saved homes are not attached automatically.
• Newsletter signup, contact forms, payments and cloud sync are not open in this launch edition.

Analytics

We measure product usage with privacy-respecting analytics (PostHog) using anonymous events such as “layer changed” or “room added”. We do not record sessions, keystrokes, floor plans or personal details, and events contain no names, addresses or birth dates.

Processors

Hosting serves the pages and temporarily processes share-link requests. Support email is forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to a Gmail mailbox. Payment providers are not enabled. Analytics are only active if configured.

You can delete any home from “Your homes”, or clear everything House Quest stores in this browser:
